  3. Original WASC Timeline • Regular 10- year process begins - 2006 • 2007-2008 – prepare CAP report • Fall 2008 – Capacity and Preparatory Review • Spring 2009-Fall 2010 – Prepare Educational Effectiveness Report • Spring 2010 – Educational Effectiveness Review

  5. Transition to NEASC • January 2008 – Request to transition MIIS accreditation to NEASC (substantive change) • Summer 2008 – NEASC visit to MIIS • Fall 2008 – Substantive change request granted to Midd • Spring 2009 – MIIS accreditation transferred from WASC to NEASC

  6. Middlebury NEASC Accreditation • One report, one visit • Originally scheduled for 2010 • Delayed until 2011 to accommodate merger with MIIS
