PROGRESSIVE PHASES • In 1992 the strength of school was 247 students. • Recognised by AWES in the same year. • First Batch of Class X passed out in 1996. • First Batch of Class XII (Sci.) passed out in 2002. • First Batch of Class XII (Comm.) passed out in 2006. • First Batch of Class XII (Arts) passed out in 2007.

  3. Current Strength of the School At present the Strength of the School is 3019 students.

  4. PROGRESS BY LEAPS AND BOUNDSINFRASTRUCTURE • Subject labs – Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer, Maths and Social Science. • Well Equipped A.V.Room, Music Room, Gymnassium.

  5. NEW ADDITIONS • V - SAT Classes. • Biotechnology Lab. • Science Park. • English Language Lab.

  6. PROJECTS UNDER PROGRESS • SCHOOL AUTOMATION SYSTEM. • E-LIBRARY AND TEACHER’S RESOURCE CELL • ESTABLISHMENT OF V-SAT FOR CLASS X & XII. • AIR COOLING SYSTEM FOR ADM BLOCK.

  7. RENOVATION Over years the subject labs have been upgraded, seeing the requirements of the students and to equip them with the latest technological method of learning.

  8. ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENTS Students with outstanding academic performance in board classes (Class X and XII) with 90% and above percentage bagged Konark excellence Award for the year 2007 – 2008 by GOC 12 Corps.

  9. ENHANCEMENT OF TEACHING LEARNING PROCESS • For the past 3 years our School has been organizing book fares under Navneet Publications to facilitate the students and the teachers with books on variety of subjects from Science, Literature, Medicine, Health, Arts, Calligraphy to competitive exam books.

  10. ACHIEVEMENTS IN SPORTS Recent achievements (2008 – 09) : 292 students participated in district level tournament.Out of them 54 students were further selected for state level team. Finally 6 students made it to national level team this year.

  11. EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES Keeping in mind the need of competitiveness and all round development of students various competitions are organized : Quiz Essay Writing Elocution Debate Extempore Poetry Recitation Rakhi and Card Making. Face Paintings Group Song and Group Dance Solo Song and Solo Dance. Field trips/Excursions Outings for fun & frolic.
