  2. DEFINISI Benda yang berasal dari • Luar tubuh • Dalam tubuh dalam keadaan normal tidak ada, yang tersangkut dan terjepit di bronkuskarena teraspirasi, baik secara sengaja maupun tidak sengaja

  6. Jenis Sumbatan Bronkus (Jackson 1936) • Sumbatan sebagian dari bronkus (bypass valve obstruction = katup bebas)  mengi • Sumbatan seperti pentil (expiratory check – valve obstuction = katup penghambat ekspirasi).  emfisema paru obstructive

  7. Sumbatansepertipentil yang lain (ispiratory check valve obstruction = katuppenghambatinspirasi)  atelektasis • Sumbatan total (stopvalve obstruction = katuptertutup)  atelektasis

  10. Penatalaksanaan PRINSIP pengangkatan segera secara endoskopik dengan trauma minimum

  11. Terapi Suportif • Pemberian oksigen • Monitor jantung • Pulse oxymetri • Steroid dan antibiotik preoperatif • Pengeluaran benda asing dengan bantuan bronkoskopi

  12. Komplikasi • Awal • Sianosis • Respiratory distress • Respiratory arrest • Akhir • Pneumoni • Empiema • Fistula bronchial • Pneumothoraks

  13. Prognosis • Sebagian besar sembuh tanpa komplikasi menetap • Penundaan diagnosis  morbiditas lebih berat
