Why it’s important Businesses are starting to use Pinterest as a virtual storefront (ie. Boticca.com) Pinterest users spend more than Facebook users ($85 vs. $180) Pinterest influenced more sales transactions than Facebook. Many brands are utilizing Pinterest as a tool for online referrals. > 4 million unique visitors
Creating a presence… Secure a Pinterest username (similar to a Twitter handle) that reflects your brand. Create boards that are relevant to your brand and its latest styles that fit into one of Pinterest’s themes. Include prices in the price banner Add the “Pin it” button to your ecommerce site Engage by allowing others to post in your boards or by following their board(s)
