PINTEREST OVERVIEW • Pinterest was founded in 2009 • It was founded by Ben Silbermann, Evan Sharp, Paul Sciarra • The three men were all friends in college studying architecture and wanted to form a website that shared things they all liked • Currently the site is run by Cold Brew Labs and funded by a small group of entrepreneurs and inventors • Pinterest has roughly 20 employees • Pinterest has raised at least 37.5 Million since October 2011

  2. WHAT IS PINTEREST? • A Virtual Pin board • Allows you to share things you may find on the web • Connects people all over the world through common things they enjoy • A easy way to organize items such as recipes, house decorations, teaching ideas and etc.
