National SME-concept – for IAGs • First contact to inform the national SME about the P4P-idea and PD-process • Direct invitation of the national SME to a national workshop • Invitation of non IAG-members via press releases • Information and spirit of project Pro4Plast, • Agenda: • Motivation to start the project • project Pro4Plast, WPs • Stage-gate-process • obligation book • Software PDGS and simulation • Trainings • Ceritfication of SME • Speakers: RTDs from the project partners and CoreSMEs • Participants: injection moulding companies, tool making companies, engineering companies and OEMs from the own country (Austria / Czech Republic / Germany / Hungary / Italy / Slovakia / Slovenia / Spain)
National SME-concept – for IAGs • How to convince national SMEs for Pro4Plast • Report from CoreSMEs and demonstration how the process will work • Couples of CoreSMEs and OEMs as a demonstration model how the process will work • Emphase the fact, that competitors from outside Europe growing fast and getting better day by day. • Our industry can only survive with complex, highly functional parts with low costs and short time-to-market
National SME-concept – for IAGs • Commitment of the National SMEs • Secrecy agreement will be signed, intention to participate • Obligation book – beginning of 2008 • First version of PDGS software – beginning / mid of 2008 • Participation in training modules • Regular feedback from national SMEs
National SME-concept – for IAGs • Questions to be answered: • Can national SME bring in their consumed hours to count for IAGs? • YES, if they bring an audit certificate • Implementation of the P4P process • In each country there should be at least one project between CoreSME and OEM as a pilot project and it will be used to demonstrate how the process works.
