Polio • More than 2 billion children received oral polio vaccine since 1985 • Rotarians have already spent $1Billion US to eradicate polio • Recently $75 M / year additionally pledged…in partnership with Gates Foundation • We WILL complete the job… Presented By: Kristopher J. District Grants • District Grants (DG) are a tool Rotary districts use to support short-term, humanitarian projects that benefit the community • Funded through a portion of District Designated Funds (DDF) to support projects locally or internationally • Smaller projects, many are $1,000 – $5,000.
Global Grants • Matches contributions raised by Rotary clubs and districts for international service projects involving Rotary clubs from two or more countries • Over $500 M spent on such international grants to date • Now $30,000 or larger • Sustainability is key !
Packaged Grants • Prefunded grants with strategic partners • Projects sizes…$1M+ • Rotarians/others can apply for projects
Vocational Training Teams • A specialized Global Grant that provides funding for teams to exchange from different countries for training. • Fall in 6 Areas of Focus • Rotarians are eligible to apply • A Rotarian leads the team
Scholarships • Since 1947 Rotary Foundation funded scholarships have furthered international understanding • Has been one of the world's largest private international scholarship programs • 60,000 scholars from 110 countries have served as ambassadors of goodwill • Now Global Grants will fund such scholarships in six areas of focus
Rotary Centersfor International Studies • There are six Rotary Centers and one professional program • To advance knowledge and world understanding among potential future leaders • 2 yr. MS Degree and 3 month professional program • Funded by World fund and earnings of special endowed fund

Endowed Fund • Rotary’s Fund to feed the future • Contributions to the Endowed Fund are NOT spent. • Contributions are invested in perpetuity. • Only the earnings are spent annually Benefactors, Bequest Society & Major Donors
