3. Dewey Decimal System • A man named Dewey, who once worked in a library, created a system of numbers to put books in order so you can easily find them. It’s called the Dewey Decimal System. Quit

Each subject has secret codes or “call numbers” for finding books. You can find a book from its call number. For example, you can find a book with a call number of 538 in the 500’s area. Quit
