MRC Coordinator Work Plan: Susan Rask, Vice Chair MRC AB has been working with contracted MRC Coordinator Liisa Jackson over the past 6 months to: • Better understand deliverables that MRC Coordinator is required to produce to meet state and federal requirements • Document MRC Coordinator services and work products • Ensure all towns in Region 4A receive equitable level of MRC Coordinator services • Gain a better understanding of what services each town is receiving, so we can identify gaps and needs
MRC Coordinator Work Plan • Work Plan has 3 components: • Definition of Deliverables and Products • MRC Regional Deliverable activities by month for the past year • More detailed Monthly Activity Summary that shows the services received that month by each town
MRC Coordinator Work Plan Deliverables include: • MRC promotion events • Recruitment events • Badgingand CORI/SORI checks completed • Trainings conducted • Trainings developed • Exercises and Drills conducted • Standard Operating Procedures developed • Volunteer Deployment (emergency and non-emergency) • Regional, State, and National meetings attended

Region 4A MRC Executive Summary: Heidi Porter Purpose of Document • Quarterly summary of MRC Coordinator activities. • Designed and presented to outline how and where MRC Coordinator services and job requirements are being implemented. • Outlines accomplishments and highlights upcoming trainings and activities. • MRC Advisory Board reviews the Coordinator’s Work Plan monthly. • Executive Summary distributed to the entire region on a Quarterly basis.

MRC Communications Protocol: Wendy Diotalevi Executive Director Communication Protocol for Accessing MRC Services and To Resolve Concerns or Issues with MRC Services: • Any Region 4A Coalition member who wishes to utilize the services of the MRC Coordinator or Deputy Coordinator should contact MRC Coordinator directly, by phone or email, to request services. • If the MRC Coordinator believes that the services requested are outside the scope of the MRC Coordinator’s contracted services and duties, the MRC Coordinator will bring the request to the MRC Advisory Board for resolution.
MRC Communications Protocol: Wendy Diotalevi Executive Director Communication Protocol for Accessing MRC Services and To Resolve Concerns or Issues with MRC Services continued: • Any Region 4A Coalition representative who has questions, issues, or concerns with services provided (or not provided) by the MRC Coordinator or Deputy Coordinator should bring those concerns to the MRC Advisory Board. All communications must be submitted in writing to the Chairperson of the MRC Advisory Board. • The MRC Advisory Board Chair will put the issue on the agenda of the next regularly scheduled Board meeting for discussion and resolution.

Region 4A MRC Volunteer Training: Heidi Porter • Positive discussion amongst MRC Advisory Board after the May 2012 Annual Region 4A Annual Conference. • Expense, effort and actual outreach evaluated for a total of 80 members attending the conference from a limited geographical base made us explore how to better utilize available training resources. • Upcoming Fiscal Year will offer Regional Quarterly Trainings that feature a Speaker on Timely Topics. • Trainings will be theme focused. • FY 2013 Training Calendar coming soon!!!
