  3. Periodic Assessment & Targets SIMS allows recording of multiple Teacher Assessments, showing historical results for information. Primary – Set of Pre-defined Marksheets for Core Subjects available in SIMS Targets can be set, informed by prior attainment and national expectations / targets. Module: Assessment Manager

  4. Analysing Attainment SIMS easily creates Analysis Grids -eg. comparing attainment across different groups Module: Performance Analysis

  5. Analysing Attainment SIMS quickly creates Tracking Grids - eg. comparing class attainment across different terms. Target cells (grey) allow instant analysis of number on, above or below target. Primary – Set of Pre-defined Tracking Grids for Core Subjects available in SIMS Module: Performance Analysis

  6. Analysing Attainment SIMS Analysis Grids give instant information from assessment data – eg. Average Points Scores for range of subjects across different groups. Module: Performance Analysis

  7. Analysing Progress SIMS provides Marksheet Formula: eg. – awarding a grade of +, - or = if pupil is making progress towards target. Module: Assessment Manager

  8. Analysing Progress SIMS Tracking Grids can quickly analyse progress – eg. end of Y2 to end of Y4 – grey cells highlight expected progress (national) Module: Performance Analysis

  9. Predictive Models SIMS can use formula to automatically generate an “expectation” of KS2 attainment based on national progress from KS1. Further formula can be used to generate a “prediction” for KS2 based on current TA and year group. Module: Assessment Manager

  10. Predictive Models SIMS creates powerful Trend Analyses – eg. KS3 Maths Test prediction based on KS2 APS using national progression lines. SIMS also displays predictions for individual students. Module: Performance Analysis

  11. Grouping Data SIMS provides Group Filters to allow instant monitoring of vulnerable groups in Assessment Manager or Performance Analysis. Filters can be saved to ensure consistency across school. Module: Assessment Manager & Performance Analysis

  12. Parental Engagement SIMS Assessment Individual Reports quickly generate a report for each pupil containing core pupil and assessment data. Primary – Set of Pre-defined Reports for Core Subjects available in SIMS Module: Assessment Manager

  13. Parental Engagement SIMS Profiles allows use of comment banks and/or free text as well as comments generated by assessment results. Class Teachers select appropriate comments for each pupil. Module: Profiles

  14. Parental Engagement SIMS Profiles reports generated using Word templates providing fast generation of comprehensive reports for one or more subjects. Module: Profiles
