9. SBA 2014 Grade 3 CBT Writing The iTest system will only have Writing Session One loaded. Session One: online only Sessions Two and Three: in the computer-based test booklet only Test coordinators will only assign, and proctors will only open, Session 1 Writing in iTest. The test status report will be accurate for session 1, and will not show any information related to sessions 2 or 3.

10. SBA 2014 Grades 5 and 8 CBT Writing The iTest system will have all three Writing Sessions loaded. Session Two: either at the computer lab, logging into iTest session 2 and using the CBT AD or in a classroom setting (offline) where TA will handout the writing directions to students and display the (secure) writing prompt The test status report will be accurate for sessions 1 and 3, but may not show information related to sessions 2 if the student took the ‘offline’ option.

Ordering SBA Materials • Only PED-approved DTCs/STCs authorized to order • Same ordering password for NMHSCE and SBA • Automatic 10% overage shipped per initial order • Order only test booklets (either paper or CBT); all else calculated for initial orders • No need to send PO to MP • Save/change orders throughout initial window

13. Receiving Test Materials • Inventory all materials immediately upon receiving them • Packing Slips (materials in each box) • Security Checklist or the Local Inventory Tool • Store materials securely until the testing window; chain of custody starts with receipt of boxes • Report any discrepancies, shortages, or issues to the Measured Progress helpdesk right away • Keep the boxes until after materials are returned

14. Preparing SBA Materials for Return All MC items must be transcribed into AD or they will not be scored! After testing, label any typed responses papers and place papers for an individual student inside the student’s AD. Never staple, glue, or tape papers into an AD. Remember to return in the Special Handling Envelopes.

16. Student Pre-ID Labels Check Pre-ID Label Rosters; correct STARS/NASIS by end of testing window. Do not use an SBA Pre-ID Label if it contains outdated or incorrect student information. Just tear up and throw away unused Pre-ID Labels. If no label, bubble in all biogrid boxes on cover Critical Step! Accurately labeling answer documents is critical to accurate reporting. Include a quality control step after applying Pre-ID Labels.

17. Do Not Return These SBA Materials • Contaminated materials (blood, vomit, or other bodily output) Call the NM Helpdesk for instructions. • Scrap paper used for CBT test takers (except for the Writing Rough Draft page) – securely destroy at the school • Manuals • Math Reference Sheets • Rulers • Spanish Math and Science Glossaries • Unused Pre-ID Labels or Pre-ID Label Rosters (shred labels/rosters as these contain secure information)

18. Focus on Returning These SBA Materials • All Test Booklets (English, Spanish, LP, Braille)*** • All Answer Documents (used and unused) • All writing rough draft pages • Any student work pages used for accommodations containing student responses to items. *** Do not forget to account for and return unused tests; they are still secure!
