Special days in Poland. Epiphany – 6th January. This day is off from work . Every Catholic goes to church . They get chalk and write K+M+B and year on their door . K+M+B mean s names of three kings – Kacper, Melchior and Baltazar.

  2. Epiphany – 6th January This day is off from work. EveryCatholicgoes to church. Theygetchalk and write K+M+B and year on theirdoor. K+M+B meansnames ofthreekings – Kacper, Melchior and Baltazar. Thisdayy we take off decorations from Christmastree.

  3. Ester - April (movableFeast) People go to churchand then, theyhavespecialbreakfast with family. Traditionaldishesareeastereggsand sourrye soup with sausages and eggs. Childrenlook for giftsoutside.

  4. Ester Monday – day after Ester In this day everybodypoursthe water.

  5. Day of flag – 2nd May This day is off work. In this day everybodyhangsflagsoutsidehouses.

  6. Contstitution Day – 3rd May 3rd May isananniversary of constitutionin Poland. Thisconstitution was secondin the worldand the firstin Europe.

  7. Valentines Day – 14th February Allloversgivepresentsand go to dinner with theirbelovedones.

  8. ShroveTuesday All Poland eatsdonuts. Bon appetit ;)
