  4. SELECTION PROCESS • A-G Requirements • Meet Eligibility Index • Who is Eligible to Apply? We are not an impacted campus and therefore will accept qualified students state-wide.

  5. SELECTION APPEAL PROCESS • A written Statement which clearly and concisely presents your basis of appeal. • Academic records which were not available at the time of application. • If you are submitting additional academic records, your Statement should include an explanation of why the additional information was not available at the time of application. • Official documentation of extenuating circumstances (for example: doctors' records, death certificates, etc.).

  6. COMMON MISTAKES THAT LEAD TO APPEALS • Missing Advertised Deadlines • Failure to make up coursework • Not completing the Intent to Enroll process

IMPORTANT DATES & DEADLINES • Fall Semester Priority Filing: October 1 – November 30 • CSUDH Counselors Day: October 6, 2011 • A Day at Dominguez: October 29, 2011 • Last Month to Take ACT/SAT: December 2011 • Intent to Enroll: May 1, 2012 • Document Deadline: July 15, 2012 • Incomplete students by Feb. 1st • ELM/EPT Test Scores: April 14, 2011 (Final Opportunity) • Housing: April 15, 2012 (Application and $30.00 application fee must be received by this date) • Orientation (recommended): TBD (May-August)

  8. Early Start Program Students who are require remediation must begin the process in Summer 2012. We will notify your students in the spring along with ways to satisfy the requirement.

  9. COMMUNICATION • We will communicate with your students in the following ways: • MyCSUDH (Portal) • MAIL • EMAIL • It is crucial for students to activate their MyCSUDH account as soon as they receive their log-in information and check their CSUDH ToroMail often. This will allow them the most up to date information on Admissions, Financial Aid, Registration and important services and resources.
