Enumeration and Characterization of the Public Health Nursing Workforce 2 on-line survey instruments: 1. Organizational Public Health (state and local) Governmental agencies in all 50 states (lead ASTDN member in each state) 2. Individual PHN- in state and local agencies SUMMER 2012
RWJF- University of Michigan subcontracted with ASTDN to assist with marketing, dissemination and follow-up to increase response rate • Attend QUAD Council organization meetings in May and June 2012 to engage partners, deliver announcements and provide marketing materials • National PH organizations will be contacted (ASTHO, NACCHO, PHN Section-APHA, ACHNE, and ANA) • Incentives will be offered

Partnerships • ANA: Participated with Glynnis in an interview resulting inThe American Nurse articles Sept/Oct 2011 and Jan 2012 on the National Prevention Strategy; call with Karen Daley, ANA President • RWJ: Public Health Nursing Workforce Advisory Committee and the RWJF Forum on the Future of Public Health Nursing February 7 – 8, 2012 in Princeton, New Jersey. • CDC: Three follow up conference calls with Judy Monroe, CDC Deputy Director. Purpose: relationship building and CDC program contacts.
