Some Questions To Consider • Higher Education/Learning: to what purpose(s)? • What responsibilities do faculty, staff and administrators assume for developing and improving the caliber of thinking in their students? • How is this responsibility manifest? • Does the learning process obligate those responsible to a higher level of performance and accountability – for instance, to actually produce gains in student learning and the quality/caliber of thinking?
