3. Getting Started Once it is plugged in and installed, you are ready to go! Make sure you have installed Mimio Studio 6
Calibration – (I normally have to do it at least once a day)
You can now control your whole computer at your whiteboard.
4. Mimio Studio 6 Mimio Notebook – This is where you will create your lesson within Mimio Studio.
Mimio Toolbar – You will use this to create lessons, and during your lessons at your whiteboard.
Mimio Gallery – This is where you will find images, background, and interactive files. Link to Mimio Training file to show the toolbar and gallery.Link to Mimio Training file to show the toolbar and gallery.
5. Mimio with PowerPoint Use your Mimio Mouse like a wireless mouse.
Use the pen tool to write on the slide.
Go to Pointer Options
Choose Pen
Insert hyperlinks to other files or websites.
Use the screen clipping tool to copy pages from your PowerPoint to Mimio Notebook to make it interactive.
Use with screen annotation to use the Mimio Tools on the Power Point.

Make sure you check out the lessons under resources. Even if they aren’t something that you can use, they give you good ideas.

8. Advice Start Slow – I started out using it with Power Point presentations or websites with interactive games.
Go over some “rules” about using the Mimio Mouse before handing it over to the kids.
Don’t feel overwhelmed! The more you use it the more comfortable you will be.
