20 Year Reunion up Mt. GunnyNon-Employee Brainstorming Session Joel, Brad, Tom, Aaron, Chris, Brian and Thunder
Purpose of the Event • Continue the tradition • Re-Charge the batteries • Get out of the house • To Find our Folly
We Found Our Folly • Folly Coordinates: • N38.81775ْ W107.37447ْ - 11,514.2 ft.
Brainstorming Ideas to Share with New Belgium Brewing • The next Post-Coasters: • Single Amber Ale looking for adventure • Reflections • Fat Tire Moon • “Where’s The Can” coffee table book • Autumn Harvest Bike Tour
Post Coaster – SAA • SAA (single amber ale) seeking someone who loves backpacking, appreciates our small earth, and isn’t scared of ghost stories. Call 221-0524
Post Coaster - Reflections • Reflections: A time to think about the road we have traveled. Hopefully, a time that we can be proud of. A time we know that we have helped. A foundation from which to charge ahead with anticipation and determination…..
Post Coaster – Fat Tire Moon (similar to Harvest or Hunter’s Moon) • Fat Tire Moon – The Natives called it the Fat Tire Moon because of the joy it brought to the tribe; stories of the past, discovery of new friends, a successful hunt, or just knowing that the lawn is mowed for another week.
“Where’s the Can?” • The idea is to create a coffee table book that has these beautiful pictures which have somewhere hidden in them a can of Fat Tire. • Loyal patrons could submit their photos from around the world for a chance to make the coffee table book.
Examples of “Where’s the Can?” The can needs to be a little more visible.
Autumn Harvest Bike Tour • Joel has 18 acres of land in Wellington which could be planted with wheat or barley. • Would prefer to grow it organically. • Then come harvest time the grain could be put into sacks and hauled back to the brewery via bicycle. • We could ask Sweet Sunny South to entertain and have cool refreshments for the people that rode up and carried grain back to the brewery. • Costumes could be encouraged. • Buzz Words – organic, zero carbon, buy local • Beer Names: • Barley Pop • Wellington Wheat • 11 Mile Ale (distance between the farm and the brewery) • ped-ALE-r (play on using a bicycle to haul the harvest)
