  2. THE IROQUOIS WERE ALLOWED TO HUNT WHEN THEY WERE OLD ENOUGH. THEY ATE BUFFALO, DEER, FISH, BEANS, CORN AND SQUASH. FOOD

  3. THE MOST POPULAR KIND OF CLOTHING IS BUCKSKIN. THEY ALSO USED BUFFALO, RABBIT, AND DEER SKIN. CLOTHING

  4. NATURAL RESOURCES THE IROQUOIS USED ALL THEIR AVAILABLE NATURAL RESOURCES, THEY HAD FOREST OF MAPLE, BIRCH, OAK, BEECH, PINE, SPRUCE, AND FIR TREES.

  5. TOOLS TOOLS WERE NOT USED FOR TRADING. THEY WERE PROBABLY NEEDED MOST OF THE TIME. TOOLS WERE USED ALMOST ALL THE TIME IN THE PROCESS OF PLANTING CROPS.

  6. DWELLINGS THE LONGHOUSE WAS USUALLY UP TO 125 TO 150 FEET LONG AND COULD FIT UP TO SIX FAMILIES.

  7. TRANSPORTATION THEY DEVOLOPED SNOWSHOES WHEN THE SNOW WAS TOO DEEP TO GET THEIR FOOD. ALSO THEY DEVOLOPED THE TOBAGGAN TO CARRY THEIR FOOD.

  8. BELIEFS / CEREMONIES The Iroquois believed in masks, dream catcher, and gods. Every year they celebrate six festivals. They did the New Year Festival, the Harvest Festival of Thanksgiving, the Corn Planting Festival, the Green Planting Festival, Strawberry, and the Maple Festival.

  9. ART The Iroquois built dream catchers, masks, quivers, and paintings. They make it out of wood, animal skin, seeds, and feathers.
