Recognising an opportunity together 20,000 - 30,000 hectares of publicly owned and deemed uneconomic broadleaved woodland and conifer plantations in the Upper Rhondda. Published data suggesting that more than a third of households in the area are in fuel poverty. The rate of unemployment and those claiming any benefit is more than 25% higher in Rhondda than the national average. We think a business case writes its self here! Local Wood Fuel Supply Chain Company
