  2. OBJECTIVES OF FSF-MED To raise awareness on aviation safety ( airlines, ATM, airports). To criticize if and when it is realized that there are deficiencies to safety. To facilitate training and education on flight safety. To promote cooperation between the various sectors of aviation in Cyprus and between the countries of the region. To develop co-operation with other safety related bodies.

  3. ACTIVITIES CARRIED OUT IN 2013 Fourth international conference : “ aviation safety in the turbulence of the current economic crisis” Signing of an MOC with the FISHER INSTITUTE of Israel. Co-organisation of the International Civil Aviation Conference” in Tel-Aviv with the CAA Israel and Fisher Institute. Facilitation and encouragement of Israeli private pilots to fly to Cyprus. Initiation of the project on “ safety in general aviation” , together with the Romanian Aeronautical Association” and the “ Fisher Institute”. Initiation of the project relating to the safety of off-shore heliports and helicopters in the Israeli and Cyprus EEZ.

ACTIVITIES PLANNED FOR 2014 Career and information seminars for students and young unemployed ,on air transport professions-first one on 7/2/2014 Seminar for private pilots of Greece, Israel, Romania and Cyprus- 7/3/2014 Fifth international conference on “ Aviation safety : can we measure performance?” Fear of flying seminars Follow up with the project on off-shore heliport and helicopters flying in the Israeli and Cyprus EEZ. Follow up of the project on the safety of general aviation
