  2. Background • Born on February 12th, 1809 in England • He was a shy kid but showed off his athletic skills as a teen. • Him and his brothers set up a chemistry lab in the backyard tool shed • Attended the University of Edinburgh.

  3. Later Voyages • Traveled around the Atlantic ocean stopping at various places to study the environment. • His most prevalent discovery was found at the Galapagos islands. • It was here he found the proof of evolution in animals

  4. Contributions to Psychology • Charles Darwin made huge contributions to the field of psychology • Specifically in child development and animal psychology
