Why Plastic Pollution is Everywhere? • Plastic is just thrown into the ocean • As much as 14 billion tons of trash • Plastic bags kill 1 million sea animals a year(some of those animals are endangered) • 80% of plastic bags in the world are not recycled(almost all end up being littered) • Americans only recycle 1 or 2 percent of 10.5 million tons of trash http://www.planetvarner.com/green/plastic-pollution-is-everywhere/

Different Types of Pollution • Air Pollution is gas chemical or particle emissions(like nuclear power plants) • Water pollution is dumping in water of chemicals or waste(mostly factories do this) • Land pollution is any dumping on land(such as land fills) • Man made products that are toxic are being put into the environment http://cwpe.org/node/138
