LESSONS LEARNED ABOUT PARTNERSHIP • Living partnership is not easy • Should not become an empty slogan • Means humility, vulnerability, receptivity and patience, willing to share in the lives of other • Realizing that we “need” others • A shared discernment of ways in which to do ministry • Giving and receiving in a spirit of mutual respect; gifts not the same

  5. Partnership means Emptying some of the excess baggage Need to initiate a project Need to control the relationship Need to dominate Need to answer the questions before being asked Need to flaunt the power of the dollar
