What is GAD? • A pattern of frequent, constant worry and anxiety over many different activities and events. -can also mean paranoid. • The features of this disorder are that its really simple basically its just that people worry a lot • According to the DSM-IV-TR there may be muscle tension.
Causes/Effects • The potential cause can be very often when it occurs with depression which comes in early life and also most likely in a stressful adulthood. • This can be more to the adults and the effects are nervousness and anxiety and it is very common to the adults and especially teenagers.
Is there a cure? • There is a cure but its actually more like medications which are: -SSRI’s -SRI’s -Ant seizures drugs -Berodiazpines: -Alptazolam (Xahax) -Clonazepam (Kbnopin) -Lorazepam (Ativan) -Buspirine • The cure can help can help but it depends on the severity condition. • There is a hope that someone can get cured but with combined medication and therapy.
