  4. Work Values • The # 1 reason people are DISSATISFIED with their jobs is when their values are incompatible with their work.

Work Values Inventory Remember! • Your values are important part in career decision-making • A match between your values and the values of your job, career field and the work environment is key to job satisfaction : ) • The importance of your work values will change over time and need to be reviewed.

Industry Sectors & Career Pathways • Take top two Holland (RIASEC) codes and review job on back. • Check all jobs you might want to learn more about. • Go to California Career Zone: cacareerzone.org • Investigate whether it’s a growing industry or not • Find your matches where the career is growing • Identify the salaries of these jobs
