Opening Prayer and Devotional Thoughts School Year Theme: “Walking Worthy” Colossians 1:9-10 • And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.
Ground Rules for Today Eat, drink, use the restrooms at any time. There is no such thing as a dumb question. We will be finishedby 10:45; students will complete testingbetween 11:35 and noon. This slide show will be available on our website (www.lhn.lhsa.com) in two weeks.
Latest Research on Parents of 8th graders… A new study was recently conducted on the stress level of parents of 8th graders. Please look closely at the following picture of two identical dolphins. If you notice any differences in them, you are under too much stress.

School History 1972 - School began with 76 students. 1974 - Moved to current location. 1983 - Added music room and science wing. 1987 - Named “National Exemplary School” by U.S. Dept.of Education. 1997 - $3 million expansion and renovation completed. 2001 - Media Center Expanded. 2001 – Air Conditioning added in all classrooms/gyms. 2002 – Lights on the Football Field. 2003 – New 8 lane track; new press box and bleachers. 2005 – Resurfaced track; new school lockers. 2007 – Office remodeling 2012 – Kitchen remodeling 2013 – Security Door 2014 – New Roof, major parking lot repairs 2015 – Mustang Spirit Shop 2016 – Repurposed/Remodeled Media Center 20?? – Café remodeling, Atrium Addition

Mustang Spirit Club Have fun while raising support and money for Lutheran North athletic program. 1 hour meeting – typically, the first Monday of each month at 6:30pm Ticket sales, concession stands, Spirit shop, game programs, and gym and outdoor advertising. Over $550,000 in improvements since 1997, the group’s inception!
