  1. Role of the school in kids’ life Everybody searches for a relatively good school for their children to study. It depends on the family income and other possibilities. But above all, parents need to be aware of the role it will play in their kids’ life. How can a school impact your kids’ growth? We need to divide the growth into two parts, physical and metal growth. The role of the school for the development of physical growth depends on its gaming and exercise sessions every day. The school must have a good play ground and a physical trainer to play this role well. For the mental growth of the child, extracurricular activities will help the most. Children must be encouraged to hone their craft and to sharpen their skills in one of their chosen fields, such as drawing, swimming, games, story telling etc. These must be made a part of the curriculum and every kid must be encouraged to choose at least one of the activities. If these two aspects are lacking in a school, then our kids will only be confined to classrooms and used as a rank creating machines for their school’s reputation, which is

  2. not a very good news. You can see the best schools in Chandigarh are nowadays mindful of these approaches. Role model or a Rank seeker A kid is like a wet clay in potter’s hands which can be shaped into his/her desired shape. Here school plays the role of the potter. Never misunderstand your children intelligence with the ranks and marks they obtain. Always aim that they are learning the subject well and able to gain good and reasonable marks without any mental stress or anxiety. Most of the school use the ranks propaganda. What we forget here is the hard work and stress the kids go through in order to obtain this status. Never make your children a victim for these tactics. Our kids are our assets and to make them a better citizen in the society will only be possible with the school which takes care of their inner being rather than hunting for ranks.
