  4. LPCC Maintenance Projects • Working with LUS saved more than $8,500 reading own meters. • Replacement of fire alarm and fire panel. • Numerous remodels and maintenance projects.

  7. LPCC Intake/Records • Intake area construction completed. • New “open booking” concept initiated. • Fast track booking implemented.

  9. LPCC Recycling • In 2009 total of 3,083 batteries recycled by the Offender • Population. Started in the November. On average over • 1,000 batteries are purchased per month.

  11. LPCC Accreditation • The ACA Audit held in June reaffirmed the facility as one • of the best in the sate and the country. Notable results • include: • 100% compliance of mandatory standards • 93.7% compliance of 343 monitored standards.

LPCC Goals To modify inmate behavior in a positive manner through the use of behavior based housing concepts (inclusive of privileges appropriate to level of custody and program decisions). • Maintain a better inventory system of tools, electrical and plumbing supplies in the maintenance shop . • Decrease the amount of time it takes to process a release by 15% .
