Carroll County Schools “A Champion for Kids”
Purpose • District sets goals to give to the Board of Education in: • Facilities • Technology • Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment
Why • To measure our impact on achievement: • Establish the criteria with the Board of Education to be evaluated for effectiveness • Create the Big Rocks for direction
How • History: We would previously establish the goals from Central Office. • I am not for sure if they were seen by the group.
Now • Organizational Clarity • Mission – Vision - Beliefs – Goals • From top to bottom • All understand our goals that we will be measured by and report to the BOE on for the year. • We are a system of schools
Process • Central Office • Align goals to our Mission and Vision • Share the goals with administrative teams • Administrative teams establish the 30-60-90 day plans to achieve the goals • The goals should align to the SIP and DIP when scores come back from the state. • Share out with your people. • I will share out on my videos as well as my website.
Monitoring • We will be meeting monthly to monitor our impact on reaching the monthly goals that your team will establish.
