    4. What is the EW Consortium? Purpose: AFMC EW T&E consortium will be the AFMC agent for coordinating EW T&E activities across the AFMC enterprise Mission: Maximize AF return on investment by encouraging collaboration and cooperation among ranges and facilities Composed of: Sr Advisory Group (A3/AAC/AFFTC) Council (0-6 lvl)

    6. Eglin Test & Training Complex (ETTC) EW Test Capabilities

    7. Electronic Warfare Test Process

    8. EW Electronic Warfare EW Electromagnetic Warfare

    9. 21st Century Testing“Testing the Digital Kill Chain”in a Netcentric Environment -Service-centric / legacy blinders – focus on small-scale, and MAYBE other-Service inclusion -We call it “21st Century” but it’s 20th-century technique-Service-centric / legacy blinders – focus on small-scale, and MAYBE other-Service inclusion -We call it “21st Century” but it’s 20th-century technique

    10. Advances in AA/AD technology are spreading … Digital Signal Processing Shared Aperture Technology Digital Radio Frequency Memory (DRFM) Spread Spectrum Systems The first category where we need your help is countering 5th generation threats. Advances in Air to Air and Surface to Air systems are challenging our legacy ISR systems … I see a day in the not to distant future where we will need to be able to gain ISR system access to areas defended by these systems… Our legacy ISR systems focused on the sensor alone as the capability—and that was sufficient in the arena we fought in the 20th century… But, in today’s information era, range, reach, endurance, survivability, and stealth will have to be integrated as part of the sensor capability….
