Statistics (22.02.02) • 61,536 unique DOI Article links found out of total 252,474 unique references (24% match rate) • 87,179 total DOI links on site • 31 journals deposited in CR MDDB • 25,567 records deposited in CR MDDB
Experiences • Problems linking from NPG products toNature Research titles • NPG journal short titles differed from Medline syntax used by CrossRef • Created pre-query filter. Transforms NPG short titles to Medline syntax for query – problem solved! • AOP DOI registration was too slow via CrossRef • Created end-run process to Handle Server • Changing NPG DOI syntax from completely dumb to internally logical • 10.1038/80132 10.1038/ng732 • Use DOI for all inbound links to NPG products! • Document Delivery Revenue is increasing • Added DOI Search to nature.com
Plans • Nature Science Update articles to be deposited and have ref queries built • Inbound links to ELS/EAA – testing now • Further automate process with Content Management System (CMS)
