Intercom • In the SPS corner, the exact copy of what was available in 2004 will be installed • In the PS corner, a COMMEND station interfaced to the ‘old’ PS intercom will be installed • COMMEND intercom for access is under IT/CS and TS/CSE responsibility • No intercom foreseen for LHC P. Charrue - AB/CO/IN
Video and Fixed Displays • 3 CATV networks available going all around the CCC • PS, SPS and SITE • TUNER card(s) will be installed in the 2nd line consoles for display • MPEG digitized signals available • Support for digitization ‘à la source’ • One signal takes ~5 Mbit/s of bandwidth • Specific software (e.g. VLC) to display anywhere P. Charrue - AB/CO/IN
Video and Fixed Displays • 16 Huge 46” Fixed Displays on the CCC walls • 4 home made BlackBoxes each one controlling 4 Fixed Displays • CATV input • MPEG input • Possible capture of any screen of any console to be displayed on the Fixed Display P. Charrue - AB/CO/IN

Fast Analog Signal • OASIS deployed to acquire the signals near the equipment, digitize them, transport them, and display them in the CCC Consoles • Support from CO for : • the OASIS Hardware (Crates, cards) • the OASIS visualisation software • LabVIEW support • Possibility to display scope images of analog signals arriving in the CCR, distributed and displayed via CATV (ASOS project) • No support for analog cables directly in the consoles. P. Charrue - AB/CO/IN
Misc • AB/CO will provide 16 push buttons in each PS, SPS and LHC corners to allow operators to inhibit/request beams • Teletext support • The Alcatel IP-touch phones look great and can offer ‘nice’ programmable features. P. Charrue - AB/CO/IN

ConCluCion • A huge installation work is coming in the next 4 months till 1st February 2006 • We are confident that the CCR and the CCC will be installed and available for operation for the 1st February 2006 • Still different solutions for PS and SPS (intercom, digital and analog signals, access, …) • But now that we will all work in the same place homogenization must be possible P.
