Town of Ossining • Unincorporated Town: • Approx. 3 sq. miles • Population 5,514 • Households 1,693 Town and Villages of Ossining and Briarcliff Manor each have their own police depts.
Town Police Department • Current patrol deployment: • Days – 2 POs, 1Sgt. • Eves – 2 POs, 1 Sgt. • MN – 1 PO, 1 Sgt. • Sgt. on Desk; POs each on patrol in car. • Non-Patrol Deployment: • 1 Detective–Investigations • 1 Detective–SRO • 1 P/T PO–Court Security
Contracted Police Services • Dedicated Patrol Services 8 am – 4 pm 2 Police Officers in cars on patrol 4 pm – 12 am 2 Police Officers in cars on patrol 12 am – 8 am 1 Police Officer in car on patrol • 24/7 Supervision (Shared)
