ELS RIUS DE CATALUNYA • RIU: Corrent d’aigua que neixen a les muntanyes per l’acumulació de l’aigua de la pluja i del desglaç • LLIT: part profunda d’un llac o d’un riu per on discorre l’aigua • CURS: recorregut que fan els rius • CABAL: quantitat d’aigua d’un riu • RÈGIM: variació del cabal durant un any • RIUS EBRE/PIRINEU: Cabalosos i llargs • RIUS SERRALADES COSTES:curts amb règim irregular

FACTORS QUE INFLUEIXEN EN ELS RIUS • INFLUÈNCIA DE RELLEU: • LONGITUD: més altura, més longitud o llarg • VELOCITAT: més altura, més velocitat • INFLUÈNCIA CLIMA: influeixen en el cabal i el règim dels rius • Zones plujoses: rius més cabalosos, règim regular • Zones clima mediterrani: menys cabalosos, règim irregular

  4. XARXA FLUVIAL DE L’EBRE • COM SÓN: formada pel riu Ebre i afluents. Xarxa més gran de Catalunya. • RIUS PRINCIPALS: Ebre • AFLUENTS: Segre, N.Pallaressa, N. Ribagorçana, Valira • EMBASSAMENTS: Canelles, Rialb, Tremp-Talarm

  5. XARXA FLUVIAL PIRINEU-MEDITERRANI • XARXA PIRINEU/MEDITERRANI • COM SÓN: Rius que neixen al Pirineu i desemboquen al mar Mediterrani. Situat al Nord-Est de Catalunya • RIUS PRINCIPALS: Ter, Fluvià, Llobregat, Mug • EMBASSAMENTS: Susqueda

  6. XARXA FLUVIAL MEDITERRÀNIA • XARXA MEDITERRANIA • COM SÓN: rius que neixen a la Serralada prelitoral i que desemboquen al mar Mediterrani • RIUS PRINCIPALS: Tordera, Besós, Foix, Gaià, Francolí, Sènia • AFLUENTS: Anguera • EMBASSAMENTS: Foix, Gaià

  7. LLACS I AIGUAMOLLS • LLAC: Acumulacions naturals d’aigua en una depressió del terreny (aqüífers, pluja o glaceres) • L’estany més gran de Catalunya és l’estany Banyoles • Aiguamolls: terrenys inundats a causa de l’aigua del mar d’una manera permanent (mar)

  8. EMBASSAMENTS I CANALS • Embassament o pantans: llacs artificials fets per l’home en el curs d’un riu per aprofitar-ne l’aigua, que es reté gràcies a una presa. Serveix per acumular aigua per al consum humà, generar electricitat, per activitats esportives. • Canelles (riu Noguera Ribagorçana) • Rialb (riu Segre) • Tremp-Talarm(Noguera Pallaressa) • Susqueda (riu Ter)
