What are seeds ? • Seeds are embryonic plants. • Seeds have been an important development in the reproduction and spread of flowering plants. These are seeds.
Why are seeds important? • Some seeds are important to human because cooking oil comes from coconut seed and humans eat seeds too. • Seeds>Plants>Produce oxygen>Humans take in oxygen to live.
How are seeds formed? • The flower of a plant has a female pistil. At the top of the pistil is a sticky pad called the stigma. This area catches the pollen from another flower. Later, when the pollen unites with the ovule, the seed is formed. X
