Includes emigration and immigration. • Emigration • Movement OUT of a place with the intention of staying at the destination. I emigrate FROM • Immigration • Movement IN to a place with the intention of staying at the destination. I immigrate TO • Continental shelf • The relatively shallow ocean floor near the edges of a landmass (could be exposed if much of the Earth’s water is frozen in glaciers)
