At the beginning of summer break, Rowley invited Greg to the country club pool everyday which was kinda fun.
At least until they racked up an $83.00 bill for smoothies that Mr. Jefferson was going to make them pay. They decided to open V.I.P. lawn service. This didn’t go well. Greg tried to get Rowley to do all the work on their first lawn. Rowley quit! This caused the two friends not to talk for several weeks!
Mom opens a boys reading club and Greg begs her to not do it.
Greg has a family birthday party. A dog eats half his cake and Mom takes all of his birthday money to pay off the smoothie bill! What a bummer!
Mom felt bad so she bought Greg and Roderick each a fish. Mom felt bad so she bought Greg and Roderick each a fish. When they went to the town pool on July 4th, Mom put Roderick’s fish in Greg’s tank! When they got back Greg’s fish had been eaten by Roderick’s fish.
Greg noticed that Heather Hills was the lifeguard at the town pool so he started going there more.
