Lessons from Agriculture • Cross sectoral coordination and involvement ?
DPG-W Mapping • Templates to be updated and complemented by Research/Studies sheet and DPG-W representation in WGs • DPs required to update information by end of March and send to DFID • If possible, templates shall be harmonised with MoWI needs • A map (WA) showing DPs activities across the country shall be added to the tables
Division of Labour • DPs to nominate a lead and co-lead to TWG in order to boost TWG performance • DPs to assist but not own TWGs operations • Expectations and ToR with regard to WSWG and WGs need to be reviewed • Information around Local Government Grant Systems to be improved. (committees, memberships etc.)
Operational Norms • Committment to time and duty • Sector reporting mechanism to be reviewed and harmonised if necessary • More frequent TWG meetings and more work between meetings • Reduce size of WSWG meetings
Improvement of Dialogue Mechanism • Strengthen DPG-W secretariat • Assist MoWI to improve capacities • Refer to TA concept for PCT • Improve MoWI ownership of dialogue process • Awareness to be raised with regards to Basket MoU and its mechanisms
Improvement of Dialogue Mechanism cont. • DPG-W chairs to meet PS on monthly basis • Minister to be involved in Dialogue and encouraged to attend JWSR • Stronger involvement of CSOs and Parliamentary Committee • Link- up with overall reform mechanism and GoT performance improvement measures. • Employ external Consultants to review sector performance (proper ToR)
