  1. Vendi Vidi Vici You slip it in, we’ll put it out!

  2. Pain Point in corporates • It’s 4 pm, your deadline is looming large, and the stress is overwhelming. What should you do? Your arm makes up its mind for you, reaching into your desk drawer and emerging with a chocolate or bag of chips. The treat consumed, you feel calm for a while but then the guilt begins to eat away at you; the stress cycle starts all over again. • Meals sometimes takes a backseat when it comes to making healthy choices because the work day zips by with all the tasks we have to complete before the end of the day. • We have been hearing a lot about the rise in lifestyle disorders such as hypertension, obesity, digestive diseases among young working professionals. One of the main factors contributing to them is unhealthy food habits. • Usually when that happens, providing employees with quality food optionsbecomes a priority for any employer. Staff will be appreciative of the fact that the company is promoting a healthy workplace, and that nutritious food is up for grabs throughout the day.  • Having onsite food and drink eliminates the need for employees to venture away from work premises, helping them maintain their focus and streamline their working day

  3. Pain Point in Apartments • No time to cook dinner due to erratic work schedules? Food that you ordered is taking a long time to get delivered? Looking for something more substantial than crackers or chips to satiate your hunger? • Modern day vending can offer so much more than just a quick snack. We offer our customers great, high quality fresh food vending options. Our machines are designed and built to dispense hot food at a perfect temperature which keep meals at the peak of freshness and taste.

  4. Value Proposition • We want to stray from the common practice of offering non-perishable food items to now include products like fresh food. As consumers increasingly value accessibility and convenience, this emerging shift reveals the creative ways in which brands are seeking to accommodate these values. • Although the cafeterias can sell fresh food to employees and visitors during business hours, companies that continue operating throughout the night are often unable to provide the same food service during that time. • Most of the corporate companies are open 24 hours a day, while its café closes at night, leaving personnel and other employees with few food options except those items sold in vending machines after business hours. We want to expand our vending options to fresh food such as sandwiches, salads, uncut fruits, breakfast, lunch/dinner options etc. • The workplace environment influences the health of its employees. Adding vending machines that have healthier snacks / fresh wholesome food is a good option to help combat any future health problems.

  5. Our solution • We focus on health-conscious snack and beverage vending machines offering grab-and-go options for snacking beyond the canteen. You will have a sea of options at your disposal like granola bars, chips and namkeen which are either baked, roasted, or air-popped, fruit yogurts, Buttermilk, Milkshakes, Lassi, etc. The products list curated by our nutritionists is Cholesterol, Trans-fat, preservative-free, Protein Rich and High in Dietary Fiber. We provide complete end to end vending services to our clients such as machine installation, maintenance, and refilling of products. • We also plan to introduce machines in apartment complexes that will vend fresh food like sandwiches, fruits, salads, breakfast, lunch/dinner options. This is what makes our company unique from other competitors. This gives employees/tenants easy access to wholesome food choices, that can support their personal wellness goals, as well as reduce the stress of running out for meals when deadlines are looming. • Amenities as simple as vending machines with energy-boosting food can improve the experience of employees navigating day-to-day workstreams. You can grab a healthy bite without having to stand in long queues. Time and Convenience is what is important today and our vending machines provides both these elements beautifully. • Vending Machines occupy less space, no humans are needed to run, and provides the convenience of a 24/7 store. They increase last mile connectivity substantially. Considering the pace at which the world is working in today, it is important for all workplaces to have fast-paced machines that dispense what consumers need

  6. Ability to build this venture • Since I am from a software engineering background my technical skills are good. I can adapt to new software easily. I have built our company website. • Some of my strengths are: 1. Negotiation skills 2. Creativity, Discipline and Determination 3.

  7. The help required from NSRCEL • Sales/Marketing : Our target marked is corporate companies. There are a lot of companies which do not have vending machines on their premises. We need to meet with the person who makes these decisions like the facilities/operations manager and sell our service. This is where I would need guidance from your team.  • GST/Tax applicable to our business: Need a good understanding of how GST works for businesses • Vending machine refilling logistics for perishable food More frequent replenishment of fresh food items would be required. No one would want to buy a salad that looks a little brown, or a sandwich that's a couple days old • Financial model Need an accurate projection of a company’s future success or issues it will run into.

  8. How far have you progressed with your idea? • The company is registered, the required license (FSSAI) is obtained. The website and mailbox is ready. • Right now we are at a stage wherein we have approached healthy food manufacturers and are working out commercial negotiations with them and they will soon be on board. We have also zeroed in on our vending machine manufacturer.
