  2. Famiglia di Galileo • Galileo was the first of six siblings • He’s father was a musician. • He was born in Pisa but later moved to Florence. • He’s family was also of nobility but had no money.

  3. Nascita di Galileo e la morte • Galileo was born in Pisa on February 15, 1564 • Galileo then had a very full and rich life and died having discovered many things. • At the age of 78 he died in Arcetri on January 8, 1642.

  4. Interessi di Galileo • Galileo’s interests were astronomy, mathematics, and philosophy . • He also had a strong interest in telescopes and even went and made he’s own. • Galileo also had a love for learning.

Come Galileo diventarefamoso • One of the things that is more common knowledge is him making a telescope of his own and found Jupiter's moons. • He was also popular with the church and was sent a warning because he said that the sun maybe is the center of the universe, not Earth, this idea was called Copernicanism .
