Budget Situation • May State Budget Revision • $16 Billion short fall • $8 million make up with proposed tax increase • $8 Billion with cuts other than higher education • UC Funding in May Revision • $52 million increase over current year funding • $250 million cut for shortfall trigger • $1 Billion cut out of $3 Billion over last 4 years
