Process Technology (PTEC) Program at Los Medanos College • Prepares women and men to be refinery and chemical plant operators (process technicians). • Everyone is welcome. • The program can be completed in as little as 3 semesters (18 months). • The program is affordable (~$3,600 for all tuition, fees, and books; financial aid is available). • Refinery and chemical plant operators work outside as well as inside; in teams; with their hands as well as their heads. • Starting salaries of $45,000 - $65,000 per year. With overtime, an operator can make a 6 figure annual income.
