Exam Guidelines. The night before the exam, have a good night’s sleep so that you are not tired. Be prepared, pack everything you will need for the exam the night before. Take time to have breakfast on the day of the exam. Be sure of the level of Exam you are sitting.

The night before the exam, have a good night’s sleep so that you are not tired. • Be prepared, pack everything you will need for the exam the night before. • Take time to have breakfast on the day of the exam.
Be sure of the level of Exam you are sitting. • Remember your seat number. • Arrive early and take the time to check your number on the lists in the social area.
Remember your candidate number. • Invigilators will have a copy of your number.
Arrive early at the exam room – 10 minutes before the exam. • Arrive in DRESS CODE. • Arrive with all the necessary equipment.
Bring water to drink. • Enter the exam area quietly. • Make sure that your mobile phone is switched off. • Leave your bag and phone at the front of the exam hall. • Do Not bring valuables to the exam hall.
Sit down, take your jacket off and try to RELAX. • Check you have been given the correct exam paper. • Listen carefully to the invigilators instructions.
Always be polite and respectful. • Read over your exam paper. • DON’T PANIC • Answer as many questions as possible.
It’s not advisable to leave the exam hall early. • If you get stuck, sit quietly for a few minutes, then go back and check over the question. • You may be able to answer another question.
You are under exam conditions at all times in the exam hall. • You cannot talk! • If you need assistance, put up your hand and wait.
Don’t Give Up! • Fight for every single mark on the paper!
Once you leave the exam hall, do not wait outside. • Use the social area between exams to meet your friends. • Remember that other year groups are still in class. Try not to disturb them.
Do not group outside classrooms, in corridors or at lockers. • Do not wander about the school, play football etc.
