Meshed Model CFD Grid I • Non-uniform cartesian grid • Concentrated resolution on the fingers • 120x100x100=1.2million units • Finer resolution -> better results
Current Results • Technical Issues Resolved • System finally debugged • Some initial qualitative results have been obtained • Pressure Distributions, Streamtraces (streamlines) are of greatest significance at this time • Quantitative results forthcoming, require further analysis
The Future • Simulate Established Flow • Extract pressure, viscosity, vorticity measurements • Compute drag on the hand for each position • Publish (?)
