My summer volunteer work at Latin America’s busiest and most modern HIV/AIDS Clinic in Mexico City, serving a population of around 20 million. The Clinic offers multi-specialty care with a focus on prevention through educational materials, seminars, and providing condoms and tests. It treats thousands of patients, including inmates, sex workers, and victims of sexual violence. The clinic is overseen by CENSIDA, providing universal access to ART through the National Health System. My experience included working with different programs and providing translation services.
