Calling All Artists! • The Writers' Magazine needs a cover, and we want YOU to design it! • Submit your design to Ms. Sullivan's mailbox by Wednesday, June 1st Include the following components in the cover: • -Magazine Title: Much Inside • -Theme: The Voice Behind My Lips • -Year: 2010-2011 • -A unique, eye-catching design!

  5. Explore and Plan Tests are On June 8th! • Countdown: There are only 7 school days until the EXPLORE and PLAN tests!

Congratulations Chemistry Scholars! • 17 Students presented their chemistry projects at the Northwestern Project Showcase.  • Muchin SWEPT the chemistry categories!!!! • Janell Jackson's "Whoosh Bottle" won both Best in Show and the People's Choice Awards in the Cool Chem Show category. • Wesley Li, Darlean Martin, Ashley Loubriel, and Will Carter's "Atomopoly" won Best in Show in the Periodic Table Board Game category. • Congratulations to all who participated!!!

  7. Upcoming Community Service Opportunity There are still 11 spots left to volunteer for the Soldier Field event! Details: • May 28th: Soldier Field 10 Mile Event, 5am-12pm SIGN UP on Ms. Mikolich’s Door!

  8. Project SMMAD! • Meeting today at 4pm in the Art Room! The following students are expected to attend: • Remember, you need to have consistent participation to receive the program completion gift!

  9. Are you interested in Studying Business and/or engineering this Summer?! • Sophomores, if you are interested sign up on Ms. Mikolich’s door today! • There will be an information session next Tuesday, May 31st during lunch for you to learn more about the 2 programs that will be offered at Muchin College Prep this summer! • These classes are for Noble Network Sophomores and Juniors and this is also a great chance to meet other students in the Noble Network!

  10. MCP Girls Softball Schedule This Week(5/23-5/27): Thursday- Indoor Practice (Meet in weight room at 4pm! ) and 2nd Annual MCP Sports Banquet at 6pm Friday- Practice on your own! Saturday- MCP vs. Pritzker at Mozart Park (Playoff Game! Meet at school at 11:15am. Game starts at 1:00pm)
