  10. Irregular Plural Nouns • Most plural nouns are formed by adding –s. • Nouns ending in ch, sh, x, z, s and ss you add -es to form the plural • Nouns ending in –y, change the y to I and add –es • Nouns with irregular plurals change spelling

  11. Possessive Nouns • Rules: • Add an apostrophe and –s to form a singular possessive noun • Dog-dog’s • Add an apostrophe to a plural noun ending in –s to form the possessives. If the plural does not end in –s, add an apostrophe and –s • Dogs-dogs’ • Children-children’s
