By attending a recertification training event
5. Example:
A typical trainer / assessor could hold up to ten competencies
10 competencies may mean 14 days of training events
There are also the workplace assessments
6. 14 trainer / assessor days lost to training
10 cards issues - Ł195.00 to NCCA
7. If not an internally available competence then a fee to an external training company
8. A likely total cost of Ł3.5k per trainer
Simple maths:
number of trainers x Ł3.5k

31. Mechanism

32.

33. Candidate doesnt meet required standard?
If core exam then all competencies suspended for minimum 48 hours
34. If additional module then that module only suspended minimum 48 hours
35. Development plan to enable a re take in not less than 48 hours and not more than 12 weeks
36. Retake exam, if supported by sponsor
Only one re-take allowed otherwise full trainer approval system to reinstate
37. Conclusion
