Think of these as things that will delay or hinder your success. • Opportunities – 100% External (outside your box) • Where can we increase business or revenue: What opportunities or trends can you take advantage of? What strengths can be used to leverage opportunities? • Threats – 100% External (outside your box) • What will prevent you from being successful or lose margin or market share: What trends are potentially harmful to your business? What is your exposed “underbelly”? Where can our competitors take advantage of you? What weaknesses can become threats?
