Conclusions Status Production Dec2001 • Raw material • Upgrade of plant to produce >2tons/month OK • Mechanical upgrade of pullers • Progressing according to plan • R&D for 85mm ingots • Very good results • Proposal to switch to this when endcap production ready to start • Pt and crucible production • Under control but keep a 3 months delay • Cutting • Very good results from tests by M. Lebeau • Proposal to buy two wire cutting machines instead of 1 wire cutting machine + 2LGB disk machines (more effective and less costly) • Annealing of crystals needs optimization, but only possible when one wire cutting machine delivered to BP. Will require about three months to be fully operational Accept a shift by one quarter in the delivery schedule for the SCIONIX contract ECAL delegation visit to Bogoroditsk end February?
